Oatmeal for dinner

I recently read an article in the NYTimes by Mark Bittman about oatmeal as a savory meal. I was intrigued. So tonight, I made a simple dinner with a hodge podge of ingredients I happened to have lying around - a savory sesame soy oatmeal topped with shaved bonito flakes and dried nori flakes, drizzled with a bit of wasabi mayo and sweet unagi sauce, topped with a poached egg and a dollop of caviar. And it's super delicious - kind of like a Japanese style congee. I've been watching way too much Top Chef lately.
