Universal Truths

I'm still trying to figure out the Absolute Truth but in the meantime have learned some universal truths:

• Laughing with your girlfriends is one of life's greatest joys
• Fried foods reach their maximum yumminess when you are buzzed at 2 in the morning

The holidays are a time of celebrating life's joys - friends, family, laughter, good food, merriness...as I reflect on 2008, I am overcome with thankfulness at the sheer beauty of life and all the moments, big and small, happy and sad, that make up our days together. I wish for all my loved ones all of their heart's desires to be granted and true happiness in 2009 and beyond.
