Major disasters seem to occur in places I've just left.
- the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake in San Francisco happened just months after I'd moved to Virginia
- the Egyptian/Arab Spring revolution in 2011 occurred less than a year after El Hombre's and my Egypt trip
- I left Japan in August 2010; the major earthquake/tsunami in Japan occurred months after in March 2011
And now - El Hombre and I JUST got back from Cebu/Bohol, Philippines last weekend. And there was a major earthquake there a few days ago. Coincidence?
