Bankers

I just got back from a boondoggle trip to the OC for a closing dinner for a deal I worked on a few months ago. 3 comments:

1) I looooooove nice hotels. I love high-thread count sheets and comfy beds and white down comforters and plush towels and room service.

2) Bankers can be extremely crass. Their level of crassness directly correlates to the amount of alcohol they have consumed. I have never before in a professional setting had conversations about the details of Paris Hilton's sex video (and how apparently "lazy" she is when it comes to sex) or an analysis of what kind of girls are girls you f*$% v. girls you marry, etc. or heard SO many off-color racist/sexist/classist remarks. Wow.

3) The OC is basically one gigantic strip mall.
