Things I learned in Hawaii:

1. Sweet garlic and onion Macadamia nuts taste like sour cream and onion potato chips.

2. The basics of paddleboarding are surprisingly easy to learn (it's like kayaking while standing up on a big surfboard) but I still don't understand how you go from paddling to actually surfing.

3. The heart wants what it wants, and when you try to go against what it wants, it will punish you with excruciating pain. "Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connait point. The heart has its reasons, where of reason knows nothing." - Blaise Pascal
