Dreams, revised

My secret dream used to be that I wanted to write a novel - a moving piece of fiction with deep character development that I could be proud of as being a worthy read and contribution to literature such as Middlesex, or at least just a really well written novel such as The Time Traveler's Wife. But I've changed my mind. I love reading great literature, but I love reading teen fiction even more. And every time I've ever sat down to start writing, the words that have flowed have sounded very much like the voice of a teenager - because I think in some ways, emotionally I am stuck at that stage. My new dream is to write teen fiction.
