Sands in an hourglass

Nothing makes me sadder than imagining a life that doesn't include my grandmother. She visited HK this weekend and I couldn't help noticing how much she has aged - she is so frail now, and often forgetful and child-like. It's a reminder to me that our days together are not infinite and that we shouldn't waste a single moment of our lives. I feel fortunate to spend even a few extra days or extra hours just enjoying enjoying each other's company while she is still healthy and able.
