The Goldfinch

You know those books that surprisingly pull you into its fictional world with so much detail and character development that you lose track of your real life because the world the author created has become so real to you and you can't go to sleep without knowing what is going to happen next because you feel so invested somehow in the characters' lives? The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt is one of those books. I'm about 3/4 through and I will not be doing anything productive until I am finished.
